Established in 2008, the Missouri ACC Foundation was organized for the purpose of contributing to the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and to ensure optimal quality of care for individuals with such diseases through charitable, educational and scientific means. As a 501(c) 3, non-profit organization, this valuable work is made possible by the contributions of our dedicated members and public donors.
Contributions to the Missouri ACC Foundation have enabled us to fund $10,000 research grants awarded to early career professionals through the research grant program. This is a very worthwhile endeavor, providing seed money to researchers for pilot studies/proof of concept projects. These grant funds funded investigators who might not have been otherwise funded.
