2023 Research Grant Call for Letters of Intent Now Open:
We are pleased to announce cardiovascular research funding opportunities through the Missouri Chapter of the American College of Cardiology. Up to5 proposalswith budgetsup to $10,000each will be funded for two years beginning July 1, 2023. A broad range of proposals pertaining to cardiovascular care including basic, translational, clinical, outcomes and effectiveness research will be considered.
This year we are excited about the MO-ACC Chapter’s partnership with the Young Scientist Program(YSP). This program willoffer bright young talented high school students from the Saint Louis Public School System the opportunity to work with Early Career faculty during an 8-week long internship during the summer of 2024. Funding for these students will be provided by the MO-ACC (as a supplement to the $10K funding proposal). Please note thatpriority will be given to proposals thatincludesupport for one high school studentthrough this program.
At this time,we are requesting a one-page letter of intentdelineating the hypothesis and justification of the importance of the proposed research. Early career cardiologists (those in the first 7 years after fellowship) and Cardiovascular Care Team members are particularly encouraged to apply. Please note, this Research Grant Program is not open to Fellows in Training.
Deadline for submission ofletter of intent is March 22, 2023 by COB.
